Sven Békési
Artist, Designer, Data Scientist. Munich.
Sven Békési, born 2000, lives and works in Munich, a few minutes from the Gasteig and the museums.
He finished school at sixteen, then spent years in software start-ups building apps and AI products, converted a Sprinter van into a mobile studio (2020-2024) and founded several companies, drawing all the while. Since 2024 he has turned fully to painting: oil, chalk oil (his own Imbiboleo technique), Indian ink and lino.
He is interested in the union of free creation and clear reasoning: Leibniz, Goethe, Leonardo. Classical painting as a field of tension between innovation, craft, statement and effect. Art, for him, does not have to solve anything.
